Is it me or has the world gone nuts?
I picked up my local paper this morning and there was front page story on two 13 year olds being arrested for threatening to shoot a public school teacher. I’ll be the first one to admit I had more than a few disagreements with my teachers when I was in school but threatening to shoot one of them never would have occurred to me.
That was just the start, after skimming our local paper and finishing my breakfast I went on line to get my real news fix and came across this story: “Congressional Democrats Warn Petraeus, Crocker Not to Minimize Seriousness of Situation in Iraq“. You’ve got to be kidding me??? I have no doubt that General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker will testify truthfully and accurately about the situation on the ground in Iraq or that what they say will be exactly what democrats on the hill don’t want to hear.
