A small but enthusiastic crowd of patriots gathered on the City Center Green in Danbury this morning. I didn’t get an accurate count but I’d put the number at 150 or so.
Lea, Rosemarie and Halle (apologies if I’m spelling your names wrong) sang of one of the best renditions of the nation anthem I’ve ever heard, the band Murphys Law rocked the crowd and roughly a dozen speakers, including representatives from the Danbury High School Young Republicans and the WCSU College Republicans took the stage to speak.
Here’s a few photos from the rally:
Tom Murphy says
We must come out in bigger numbers. We must show our politician’s that we will not tolerate the obscene amounts of money being borrowed. We must stop embarrassing our country by President Obama apologizing for things we are not sorry for. We are, and always have been a Christian nation.
I know it is difficult to advertise using a bias media, but we must tell our friends, our neighbors, our friends about these upcoming events. I am sure you will be surprised to see that many believe the same way we do. We have to stop this “well, there nothing I can do mentality. Fellow patriots, I hope to see you all at upcoming T.E.A. party’s. And please, write to your Congressman and Senators and tell them exactly how you feel.
