About the nicest thing I can say about Super Bowl XLVIII is at least the commercials didn’t suck. The game was awful, an Al Gore speech marathon would have been more entertaining.
It was the most lopsided drubbing I think I ever seen. It was ugly. It was embarrassing — the 43-8 score doesn’t begin to tell the story of just how painful it was to watch. The Seattle Seahawks gelded the Denver Broncos last night, there’s no other way put to put it.
Anyway on to the commercials (or at least my top five).
Budweiser won the night two great ads “Puppy Love”

and “A Hero’s Welcome”

At number 3 is Cheerios super cute “Gracie”

At number 4 is Doritos “Cowoby Kid”
And number 5 is Sodastream’s ad featuring Scarlett Johansson:

This is the “uncensored” version of the ad. I couldn’t find the “censored” version on Youtube, and frankly I don’t see why Fox or the NFL had them remove that “Sorry, Coke and Pepsi” line from the end of the ad.
